Open Science (OS) is becoming an increasingly common part of research projects, both in the preparation and implementation phases.
Typically, a description of the institutional OS strategy in the project application, Open Access (OA) publishing and a Data Management Plan (DMP) are required, and in some cases the integration of other OS practices is also evaluated. The specific requirements vary across research funders and the type of project, so it is importnat to read the terms of the specific call and project application in detail.
How to proceed?
- The assistance with the orientation in the tender documentation of project calls and specifications of OS requirements will be provided by the Project Centre (contact person according to their agenda or appointed Head of Project Centre).
- Expert support on OS, OA and DMP related matters in accordance with your project requreirements will be provided by the OS support team at UTC Prague.
- Research data management is usually handled by a nominated member of the project team (Data manager), methodological support is provided by Data Stewards at UCT Prague.
