Research Data Management
The support for research data management in line with FAIR principles is provided by so-called data stewards at various levels. This involves support and consultations, especially regarding Data Management Plans (DMPs), covering what DMPs should contain, which tools and templates to use for creating DMPs, the requirements for DMPs set by research funders, etc.

Legal and methodological support regarding copyright in connection with OS (e.g., suitable CC license for publishing OA articles, interpretation of license agreements, issues related to the use of third-party data in data management, etc.) is provided by the Rector's Secretariat and the Information Support Center.

Legal issues related to commercialization, industrial property rights with a focus on utility models and patents, and conditions for the subsequent use of results falling under industrial legal protection (e.g., contracts with third parties) are supported by the Department for R&D and Technology Transfer Office.
Data Protection (GDPR)
Matters related to the protection of personal data in connection with Open Science (e.g., when sharing research data, anonymization, etc.) are handled by the university's Data Protection Officer at the Rector's Secretariat.
